Thursday is coming a day early this week because I have interference tomorrow and won't be around.
To quickly run through the "Take No Prisoners" backstory for the newbies: When I was a kid, leftover night at our house was called Take No Prisoners Night. Everything came out of the fridge, nothing went back in. On Thursdays here at DuJane, I give you the leftovers from my week. All of the small stories too big for Twitter but too small for their own blog post. Plus whatever random links and flashbacks I feel like sharing.

Life is complicated but exciting these days. Thanks to those who have checked my pulse every few days for the last couple of weeks - it means a lot to me. I am a lucky girl, to be surrounded by so much love. I appreciate it. And I appreciate being able to recognize it even in the low points.
No, you're schmoopy.

I will be moving on March 15th-ish. I have found a really perfect situation - great location, great roommate, perfect for Wrecks. And I'm really excited. I'm probably not going to talk about the town I'm living in as freely as I did at times with the Stately Manor, but I'll say this much. My 5 minute commute to work will be a thing of the past, but now I'll have a 5 minute commute to a good chunk of my social life. That's important too.
I'm also planning on getting a mailbox. Which means I might post a mailing address for myself, something that has been requested a couple of times. Then the Big Crazy Internet can mail me stuff without having to go all Calendarguy on me with the Google Maps. (Which was okay. Because he mailed booze. No, you're schmoopy.)

I was at SCD's shop last night to play paparazzo for the new website. One of his competitors was there working on the cars, and mentioned that he also needed a new website.
If I end up a regular at stock car tracks this season, somebody stage an intervention? Kthx.

This week, years past:
2009: I almost did some stuff. This one was hard to read in retrospect.
2008: We taunted Wrecks with cheese on the bleachers.
2007: We built the bleachers. Although Marc's guess in the comments is way way better.

I said nothing about being a GROUPIE! I said a regular at the race track. Taking pictures, watching races, falling asleep. You know. The stuff I normally do at stock car races.

The new place sounds good. Sucky that the commute won't be as short, but if you're close to friends, it'll be worth it.

Hope you have good weather for your big move!
Be careful around those stock car guys...they can't be trusted (your words, not mine)

Those were my words! I said it! I own it! But I was the one drinking straight out of the Skye Vodka bottle at the time . . .
So. Umm. I feel like you're ignoring my question from the last comments convo. You and D are coming to DuQuoin, right?

Is it safe to say luge is the midget car racing of Olympic events?

I wish the Olympic event we were most like was the one with the skiing and the guns. Because that looks hella fun.
